Saint Jeannet

Saint Jeannet

Picturesque perched village, Saint Jeannet was built at the foot of its Baou for protection against all enemies. It is perfectly facing South making it an ideal location for cultivating olive trees, vineyards and flowers.

The Baou of Saint-Jeannet (807 meters high) also contributes to the renown of the village thanks to its climbing site known all over France, offering up to 500 access tracks leading to its peak. At the top of the Baou, you can appreciate a very beautiful view of Nice and its hills, the Esterel region, the Var valley as well as the often snow-capped mountain tops in the far background.
The old Saint-Jeannet is full of winding streets and lanes. The rue de la Tour is particular for it is the only street in the village that is wide, straight and well paved.
