La Gaude

La Gaude

Small town of the Moyen Pays (Middle countryside), La Gaude has also its Baou that is 796 meters high. Less steep than the one of Saint Jeannet, its uneven terrain is perfect for paragliders to take off.

The next time you climb the Baou de la Gaude, take your time to admire the panoramic view of the Côte d’Azur, and a few hundred meters further, you can also see one of the oldest and biggest Daumas oak tree in France over 500 years of age.
Once you have finished your hike, you can go to the heart of the village and see the small streets very rich in history but also the Chapelle Saint Ange decorated by Alexis Obolensky and Alain Peinado, as well as the Eco-Museum.
